McLaren Packaging at Millhouse

An exciting project in Argyllshire, Millhouse will see the creation of a productive, predominately native, woodland. Species such as sycamore and oak will provide a future timber yield, though the extraction will be sympathetic as the project is designed to be managed under a continuous cover system - effectively creating a natural and all-aged forest.

In addition, species such as cherry, aspen and birch will be planted to ensure the project benefits local wildlife; boosting the connectivity of native woodland habitats in a part of Scotland dominated by commercial forestry plantations.
